Our Story

Todd Wandio was born and raised in Edmonton Alberta.  In 1988 he moved to Stony Plain, Alberta, and currently resides in Spruce Grove with his wife Becky.

A talented singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Todd is the lead guitarist of the cover band My Dog Sam.  Playing and singing covers may pay the bills, but it doesn't feed the soul.  Starting in the late 90's with roots/rock band Sweater Thieves, through a variety of gospel projects covering the past three decades, and continuing with recent solo work, Todd Wandio has honed his songwriting skills to a keen edge.  His songs tell stories, float theories, exaggerate reality and undress truths with a foot tapping, head bobbing rhythm as honest as his lyrics.

Todd is excited to announce his latest musical project:  Todd Wandio:  Crossing Clay. Solo guitar and vocal, instrumental duo or high energy combo, Todd Wandio:  Crossing Clay provides a professional show for intimate to moderately sized rooms.   Surprise guests and additional members are always filling out that coffeehouse sound.
